Questions You May Have

How will the addition enhance our worship?

Currently a committee of the council is exploring and envisioning options. We want to

increase space and alternatives for people coming to our church both as new Christians

and those coming from other churches.

When will we demolish the old sanctuary and begin building the new?

When we receive 75% of the funds needed for the whole project in cash and pledges.

How do we give to the capital campaign?

We are encouraging members to prayerfully consider a one-time gift or a three-year

pledge on a weekly, monthly or annual basis. You can complete the pledge envelope

or go online to give your gift or make your pledge.

Why do we need to do this project?

a. We are currently beyond maximum building capacity.

b. Our 90 year old building requires ongoing repairs to maintain structural

integrity.

c. Additional space and improvements are needed for:

  • • Worship - Improved overflow worship experience
  • • Church Activities - Overcrowding at popular events such as dinners and

                 programs

  • • Sunday School & Catechism – Additional classrooms needed
  • • Youth Group & Middle School Live – Designated areas versus sharing

                 narthex and fellowship with congregation

  • • Cadets – Meetings, ongoing projects and storage
  • • Gems - Meetings, work on crafts and storage
  • • Nursery – Additional safety and security, better flow in and out, private

                 nursing area

How will the new addition provide secure and safe nursery facilities?

The project assures that your nurseries will be safer, more secure, and more efficient for

our infants and toddlers during worship services.

"But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?  Everything comes from you,

and we have given you only what comes from your hand." - 1 Chronicles 29:14
