History of First Byron CRC

List off the events and dates down here to see more easily:

  • 1902 - First Byron CRC was founded
  • 1903 - The new church was built
  • 1908 - East building addition
  • 1917 - Byron Center Christian School was opened
  • 1924 - 
  • 1932 - The new church was built by members
  • 1938 - Door CRC was 
  • 1944 - The basement was excavated
  • 1946 - The Lamar Park 
  • 1948 - A new Christian school building was constructed
  • 1953 - Byron Center Second CRC was organized
  • 1962 - The sanctuary was remodeled and the south sanctuary was added
  • 1964 - 
  • 1970 - 
  • 1991 - The Classical Home Mission Committee met with a group from Byron Center 1st CRC to form Pathway Ministries
  • 2001 - A new sanctuary was approved and would be added to the existing building
